Global Travel Business - Ensuring programme delivery consistency

Tim Lake recently supported a large global airline in sharing advice on how to manage huge workloads for the PMO and how that impacts business delivery capability. With so many majo programmes running concurrently, it was vital the PMO could ensure reliable and repeatable delivery capability. Particular need was on managing business expectations and ensuring quality over quantity.

Challenge:

  • How do we ensure consistent, relianble and repeatable delivery of change projects?
  • Can we deliver what is being asked of us with a reduced resource? (Redundancies during Covid impacting delivery capacity)
  • How do we articulate a clear playbook to the business on all programme delivery?
